Klíčava Dam Reservoir
Klíčava Nature Attractions
Klíčava dam reservoir is located in the heart of Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area, 2 km from The Zbečno village. The whole area of the reservoir is a part of Lány hunting district. It serves as a source of drinking water for Stochovsko, Novostrašecko, Mšecko and Kladensko regions.
The dam is accessible to the public, however the access to the water is prohibited due to the water source protection. The architecturally interesting water works building can be seen from the outside.

Axamits Gate

The largest rock bridge in the Czech Karst named after the archaeologist and doctor Jan Axamit. Most likely it originates from a cave, whose ceiling collapsed.
Axamits Gate can be found near the top of Kotýz hill in Golden Horse massif. A yellow marked tourist trail leads there. The distance from Koněprusy Caves is cca 2 km. The Jelínek Bridge

The Jelínek Bridge is a natural karst formation. The sides of a deep chasm are nearly connected at the top, forming an arc. The arc depth is 9 metres and width 1 metre. There is a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The bridge is about 2 kilometres away from the Koněprusy caves via the yellow marked tourist trail. A steep 500 metres long steep path from Havlíčkův Mlýn village leads to this place from the opposite direction. Coordinates: 49.9155261, 14.0484856

Since April 2024 The Czech Karst House of Nature, located at the entrance of the Koněprusy caves, informs the public in various ways about the phenomena of the Czech Karst protected area; the key feature is a permanent interactive indoor and outdoor exhibition about the nature and landscape of the protected area. It provides instructional and educational programmes for visitors and schools as well.
