The path explains the geological importance of the western part of the Czech Karst. It was built in 1999 and renewed in 2007. It consists of 17 informational pannels. the path starts in Hlásná Třebaň and leads to Karlštejn, Velká Ameriky quarry, Špičatý vrch near Loděnice, Svatý Jan pod Skalou, and goes on to Hostim, Srbsko, Koda, Tobolka, Zlatý kůň to Suchomasty.
The trail is 39 km long, and because of that, visitors can choose to visit only some of the places or to choose their own order of visiting the places.

The 1,7 km long educational trail starts at Husova street by the pedestrian bridge. The trail leads through a forest park to the top of the Knihov Hill. There are childrens playgrounds, an outside gym, a slide, etc. There are remnants of a Middle-Age settlement at the top of the hill. The Way of St. James has been considered a leading Catholic pilgrimage route since the 9th century. It is a network of pilgrims' ways or pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain.
Today many follow its routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. It is also popular with hiking and cycling enthusiasts and organized tour groups.
Some of the courses are listed in the World Heritage List by UNESCO
An Iron Path leads through Beroun. It is the oldest marked path between Prague and Železná village (Tillyschanz). It leads via Karlštejn, Svatý Jan pod Skalou, Plasy, Kladruby and goes on to Nürnberg. The total distance is 252 km. https://ultreia.cz/zelezna-trasa/

The trail starts in the Srbsko village and ends near the Kačák and Berounka confluence. The first pannel is located in the centre of the Srbsko village, on the eastern side of the bridge over the Berounka river (GPS: 49°56'11.821"N, 14°8'0.632"E). There are two other starting points of the trail located on a crossroad called Propadlé vody, where the trail joins Svatojánský Circuit Educational Trail (GPS: 49°57'59.418"N, 14°8'33.482"E) and (GPS: 49°56'54.836"N, 14°7'39.949"E) for those who start in Beroun an would like to join the trail from the opposite direction.
