Svatý Jan pod Skalou Observation Towers and Viewpoints
A massive rock cliff looming 160 metres above the village forms a beautiful scenery together with the Church of St. John the Baptist and the surrounding buildings. 
A red marked hiking trail as well as an educational path Svatojánský okruh lead to the top of the rock. Both trails follow the same path, they pass the Baroque Style Chapel of the Holy Cross, which was built in 1714. The cross which is located on the top of the cliff is visible from afar. Tetín Viewpoint

Tetín Observation Towers and Viewpoints
Stunning view of the Berounka river valley from the former ancient Tetín castle ruins. Acces to the remnants of the castle, where st. Ludmila had been murdered is through a narrow path. Hořovice Region Museum

The subsidiary of the Czech Karst museum is located in the Old Castle in Hořovice. Exhibits from the first half of 20th century include a historical bughher´s house interior, cast iron decorational items from the nearby cast iron foundry, etc. One of the permanent exhibition is dedicated to the Brdy hills woodworks.
