Watermen Educational Path

Educational Trails and Prilgrimage Routes
Watermen educational path on the Berounka river follows the Berounka river from Zvíkovec to the sluice in Klučice pod Karlštejnem. The path consists of 13 stops, but only 4 of them are in the Czech Karst. 
The overall lenght of the path is 58 km and can be canoed within 1-2 days. Details about the upper part of the path are mentioned on Křivoklát Protected Landscape Area website. 
The Czech Karst part of the educational path is 10 km long and is suitable for canoeing, cycling and hiking. All stops are placed on the left river bank.

The Czech-Italian Friendship Trail

Chyňava Educational Trails and Prilgrimage Routes
The trail commemorates years 1915-1919, when Italians from South Tyrol fled to Bohemia. The trail is 14,5 km long. There are 11 stops in Chyňava and one each in Podkozí, Libečov and Malé Přílepy - places, where the Italian refugees had lived. The trail adjoins other marked trails. Paraplíčko Educational Trail

Křivoklát Educational Trails and Prilgrimage Routes
The trail is located in Křivoklát village. It leads through Na Babě Nature Reserve and connects the Karlštejn car park above the castle with a view point called Paraplíčko above the bank of the Berounka river.
The trail is recommended to families with children. The trail was built by pupils of the Křivoklát Elementary School in cooperation with The Křivoklátsko Nature Reserve Authority in 2003. There are 5 informational pannels with basic information about the trail, about Karl Egon II. of Fürstenberk memorial, the local fauna and flora, the Paraplíčko viewpoint and history of the area. https://www.berounsko.net/aktivity/paraplicko/

School Educational Trail Křivoklát

Křivoklát Educational Trails and Prilgrimage Routes
The trail starts at the primary school in Křivoklát on the left Berounka river bank. It consists of 20 educational pannels and it is only one-way. Visitors have to return back to the starting point then. The pannels inform visitors about geology, protecting the local fauna and flora. Almost 200 animal and plant species are mentioned here. Lesní Panorama - Velíz Educational Trail

Kublov Educational Trails and Prilgrimage Routes
This educational trail leads on the hillside of the sacred hill Velíz (named after the pagan God Veles)
There is a beautiful view of the Brdy and Křivoklát hills. The trail is 2,5 km long. Follow the yellow marked tourist trail from the Kublov village. You can visit the Velíz hill with a cemetery and a church dating back to 13th century. https://lesycr.cz/naucna-stezka/lesni-panorama-veliz/
