Červený Újezd Castle
Červený Újezd Castles and Chateaus
The castle was built in 2001-2002 in a historicizing style, using traditional craft processes.
A museum with large collections of the Czech countryside, showing every-day life in 17th to 20th centuries, can be seen in the castle interiors.
There is a tavern and a garden with an open air museum with a wind mill, a hop dryer, a bell tower, etc..

Dobřichovice Chateau

The Renaissance seat of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star, burnt down in 1639 by the Swedes, rebuilt in the Baroque style in 18th century.
The chateau was declared to be a national cultural monument, and at the present time, it is under the administration of National Heritage Institute.
The chateau is closed to the public, with the exception of the Zámecký had restaurant.
The municipality of Dobřichovice ocassionally holds cultural events in the chateau.

Dobříš Chateau
Dobříš Castles and Chateaus
A beautiful Rococo style chateau. The current look of the chateau dates back to 1745-1765 when it was rebuilt by Henry Pavel Mansfeld. His daughter Isabella was married to Francis Gundakar Colloredo. This union gave rise to the House of Colloredo-Mansfeld who owned the chateau until 1942 when it was expropriated by the German Reich. In 1945 the chateau was confiscated by the Czechoslovak State and used as the Writers' House. The current owner of the chateau is Dipl. Ing. Jerome Colloredo-Mansfeld from Austria
